Serving God in the World

Flame

This is a group of people who fundraise and take children & adults with learning difficulties to the Marian Shrine of Lourdes every Easter. We believe in a family and joyful atmosphere and always have the best of times, believing that we are all important and loved by God.

Friends Of Jacobs Well

We were formed after the Parish Centenary Year to financially support, pray and encourage the parish of St. Justin’s, Nablus in Palestine. We have built up strong and lasting friendships with our friends in Nablus and many of our parishioners are in regular contact with people over there.  We also try to raise awareness within the local area of the situation that Palestinian Christians are living in. We also try to support communities by buying their local produce.

Knights of St. Columba

The KSC is the largest order of Catholic laymen in the U.K. Any practising Catholic gentleman from the age of 16 can become a member. It is a family organisation, firmly committed to the protection of human life from conception to natural death. We support one another & our families through the provision of fraternal benefits, participating in various charitable activities. We are Council No.493 which because of increasing membership now meets in St. Paul’s Parish Club, West Derby , on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 8 p.m.  Were always ready to welcome new members.Anyone interested, contact our Grand Knight, Harry Knight or Fr. Mark, our Council Chaplain.

Rainbows For All Gods Children

Rainbows is a non profit making, international organisation that provides training for establishing peer support groups for children, adolescents and adults who have experienced a death, divorce or other painful transition n their family. We help them work through the grief process by implementing the RAINBOWS curricula in schools, churches and social service agencies. Such grief needs support as well as healing. This need is growing each passing year. Rainbows provides a programme which, when followed, has been proved to be effective. The aim of the programme is to give participants an understanding of their new family unit; to assist them in the building of self-esteem; and to direct them towards a healthy acceptance of the changes that have taken place in their lives. We now offer this vital service in the parish and parish schools.
